Our Mission

Our goal is to provide a rich and stimulating environment that enables each child to learn actively, and to progress happily at an individual pace.  We want our school to be a place that is warm and supportive of both children and parents.  We encourage each child to find his or her strengths and to grow intellectually, socially and emotionally.  We respect and appreciate a range of traits and different personalities – funny, sensitive, curious, impish, quiet or spirited, and we welcome each child’s contribution to our vibrant and diverse classroom.  In all areas of the classroom, we approach learning in a gentle unhurried manner and emphasize confidence at one level before moving on.

We want our school to be a place where parents can leave their children knowing that we will care for them as if they were our own.  We consider parenting to be one of life’s most important roles – delightful, fun and occasionally challenging.  We are here to be supportive of our MMS families, and we feel honored to be part of such a precious time in a family’s life.
